Tommy Ford: Draw The Line

When I first met Tommy, a US Giant Slalom racer, we bonded over a shared love of drawing and how it can be an escape. That conversation became the spark for an intimate biopic about finding the elusive flow state.

Working from opposite sides of the Atlantic was not without its challenges, but after a few focused pre-production meetings we had a clear plan. I remote directed the film, overseeing post-production in London, while Tommy created the animations himself.

Alongside the hero film and cutdowns, we also produced quickfire content, tailored for different channels and optimised for vertical formats.

Created for HEAD, with support from Mount Bachelor.

Kajsa Vickhoff Lie and Ragnhild Mowinkel: Friendly Competitors

HEAD joined the Norwegian team at their training camp in San Pellegrino, in the Italian Dolomites, to connect with two of their athletes, Kajsa and Ragnhild.

The aim was to capture two strong racers at different stages of their careers, supporting one another.

Midway through filming, Ragnhild revealed she would be retiring in just a few races’ time. Suddenly the project became a race of its own, with the team working against the clock to complete the film.

Thanks to a huge collective effort, the piece launched just as the news broke, ensuring it landed at exactly the right moment.

Time with athletes is always precious, so alongside the hero film and cutdowns we created platform-optimised content, including quickfire edits and behind-the-scenes reels.
